Although I ran no risk of upstaging Dr David Siska, I was quite happy to not have botched my first official "streetbeat party" set. Even if it was a tag team set. It occurs to me now that perhaps tag team sets could be longer than single person sets, but whatever... it would also be cool if you could lock down taps with a key. I played pretty hard, trebley, grating, banging, percussive techno which contrasted with Emily's loopy, filtered and bass heavy stomper renditions. Overall, the party seemed to go fairly well and was attended by such luminaries as Zachary Lubin (past etc guest) as well as Pat Foosheen, Ruchir1, Naveen Gumpeni, Karl Meier, Fen, Jeff Seelbach (Streetbeat-WNUR current and past), Mike Rock, JJ, Nicci, Mae Baxter, Emily C (plex people), Eder (who didn't end up feeling well), Eshe, Alicia and Todd. Who did I leave out? Big thanks go to Emily, Mike, Tom, and Jaret for staying and cleaning up till the bitter end, and to Leslie to whom we owe the right to the tap deposit, as she was resolute enough to watch the keg for the majority of the evening. A few good troops go a long way.

(2007.03: this party was awesome)
