one girl said it was so natural, it was like I was just playing records for
myself on a sunday afternoon. the older fellow said that he once had a girlfriend
from chicago, but it was a long long time ago, and that the Map.ache song almost
made him cry. I think it was him that said this party was a dose of freshness
for a small scene. I also remember one fellow remarking that I handled records
in a strange way, very carefully and not queueing on the recorded surface. He
said he liked that and had never seen it before. There was one girl who was
dressed a bit like a hippy and said after the set that it was very unprofessional
of me to wear earplugs in the club, said that I wasn't doing my job and wanted
me to take them out. The bartender had awesome purple pants with diagonal zippers.
I gathered a bit of field recordings from the car on the drive back to dugave
with mirta, nils, and the driver (same fellow who came back to dugave with us
after masters, kind of a stern fellow.)
