This Monday will be an extravagant collision of different parts of the sound spectrum, sure to turn and even nod some heads. SALVO BETA will be anchoring the lineup with a rare appearance, promising a live all-electronic set. Making glitchy tunes with a sense of humour and an edge, he's been branching out into different styles since his debut LP Abrasive Stuttering, which was re-released by SOMEODDPILOT in 2000. He's since been remixed by the likes of MELT BANANA, SAFETY SCISSORS, TWINE, and Chicago's own STRING THEORY on the well-received Evil Against Evil remix compilation. His style of frenetic breakbeat techno mixed with introspective experimentalism has been incorporating more organic and acoustic elements of late, so this will be an excellent opportunity to catch SALVO BETA in rare throwback form with a raw, emotional, electronic sound.

Rounding out the evening will be J_MOODY & MAXIMUM 50 (aka m50, M@D programmer/resident). J_MOODY will be warming up for an upcoming date at Smartbar, where he'll be playing with KRA[N]K and JAKE FAIRLEY. He tends towards the funkier end of things, so be sure to bring your dancing sneakers - recommended if you enjoy sounds ranging from KOMPAKT to PERLON (it's no coincidence that Joe's played with MATTHEW HERBERT as well). m50 will be playing an extended set and fully intends to ROCK OUT. Alcoholic beverages will also be served by yr ever-so-friendly ‘tenders: Marc + Kenny.
